Privacy Policy

• Account information. Your name, email address and a securely hashed password when you sign up.
• Brand and content information. What you enter about your brands (names, descriptions, audience, voice, colors, fonts), the ideas and briefs you write, and the slideshows, captions and hashtags generated for you.
• Uploads. Images, logos and font files you upload to your library.
• Performance data. Post links, view counts and other metrics you enter, import from a file, or sync from a connected social account.
• Connected accounts. If you connect TikTok, we receive an access token and basic profile information (such as your display name, username and avatar) and, with your permission, a list of your videos and their public statistics. We use this only to send drafts you choose to send and to sync metrics for your posts.
• Billing information. If you subscribe, payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status, plan and a customer reference. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical information. Basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type and request times) used for security and troubleshooting.

• To provide the service: generating, rendering, storing and exporting your slideshows, and showing your results.
• To run experiments and insights for your own workspace, such as comparing hooks and CTAs across your posts.
• To process payments, enforce plan limits and track AI usage against your plan.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To contact you about your account, billing or important changes to the service.

To write slideshows we send the relevant parts of your brand profile, idea and brief to an AI model provider (currently Anthropic or DeepSeek). These providers process the content to return a response, under their API terms. We only send what is needed to write your slideshows.

To find photos, we send search keywords (not your personal information) to free stock photo services such as Pexels and Unsplash. Photos from these services remain subject to their own licenses.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We share it only:

• With service providers that help us run SlideShown: hosting and storage, AI model providers, stock photo services, and Stripe for payments.
• With platforms you connect, such as TikTok, when you ask us to send content there.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public, or SlideShown.
• As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics or cross-site tracking. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages to prevent fraud.

Passwords are hashed, connected-account tokens are encrypted at rest, links to rendered slides are signed and expire, and access to your workspace is limited to you. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

We keep your information for as long as your account is open. You can delete individual uploads, themes and fonts at any time, and you can disconnect TikTok from your brand page at any time, which deletes the stored tokens.

To delete your account and workspace, email support@slideshown.com from the address on your account. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records (such as invoices) for legal or accounting reasons. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. You can exercise these rights by emailing support@slideshown.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and won't discriminate against you for exercising them.

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

SlideShown is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
